A race where every step matters
Jüregımniñ Jeñımpazy is an annual race-festival that brings together thousands of people for a single cause: to support those on the transplant waiting list. As of May 10, 2025, there are 4,226 such patients in Kazakhstan, including 128 children. By participating, you're not just running a race but you're helping raise awareness about a critical issue, fostering a culture of support, and contributing to the advancement of transplantology in Kazakhstan.
Why is this important?
In 2012, Kazakhstan performed its first heart transplant surgery under the leadership of cardiac surgeon Yuri Pya. By 2025, the 100th transplant has already been completed. Despite this progress, the need for organ transplants remains high.

Our race goes beyond sports – it becomes a powerful social movement that brings together people, businesses, and the media for collective action and meaningful change.”
One of the race participants was Anar Shaimergenova – a kidney recipient and Foundation ambassador. Today, she lives a full life thanks to a timely transplant surgery:
“Every step on this course is a reminder of what I’ve been through. I know what it’s like to depend on medical procedures and to live in waiting. But I also know how powerful support can be. This race is for those who believe, who fight, who stand beside us. And if my step can give someone hope, then I run for a reason.”
How does it happen?
In 2024, the race gathered 4,200 participants - recipients, their families, donor relatives, doctors, volunteers, partners, and concerned citizens. This year, we expect 5,000 participants.

A true breakthrough came in 2022, when Jüregımnıñ Jeñımpazy evolved into a large-scale race-festival, bringing together over 500 participants under the slogan #morethanaRace. The event kicked off from the Botanical Garden.
In 2023, the organizers’ dream reached a truly grand scale – the festival race held at the EXPO site gathered nearly 2,000 participants. A special atmosphere was created by a performance from singer Yenlik.
Today, Jüregımnıñ Jeñımpazy is a growing movement, uniting more and more hearts.
